CHADD Parent Share Group in Marin County - Tiburon
A drop-in group open to all parents, family members & caregivers of children (of all ages) with challenges in self-regulation of attention or focus, activity level, emotions, whether or not formally diagnosed with AD/HD (all types). Family members share resources, concerns, successes, hope and strength. Chidren, including adult children, with AD/HD come in all sorts of packages, but when you hear someone sharing descriptions of behavior or learning problems that you thought only your child did, you realize you truly are not alone. There are others on the same path searching to understand their child's struggles, support their child's strengths, accept what cannot be changed and do their best to determine those programs, schools, interventions, medications, parenting strategies, curriculum that have been shown to make a significant difference in the lives of those with AD/HD (all types).
Usually the last Monday of the month 12:30 - 2:30.
2009 Meeting Dates: January 26, February 23, March 30, April 27, June 1 (Due to Memorial Day on May 25). No meetings end of June and July. Resumes August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30. No meeting December 2009.
